SETTING THE DROPSHORE SYSTEM

1.

Main Beams and Posts are set in rows.  This picture shows a high floor slab, requiring a scissor lift.  The use of tripods help to start a run of shoring by stabilizing the posts until bracing is added.

2.

Secondary Beams are set to the appropriate spacing depending on the slab thickness.  36 SF of framing has just been set by two men in less than 5 minutes!  Setting is even faster when working off grade instead of a lift.

3.

After an area has been 'framed up', plywood decking can now be installed.  Here a unit of 3/4" formply is being landed.

4.

One or two workers start laying out sheets of plywood.  The plywood is typically secured with 4-6 small nails.  It only takes seconds to deck 32 SF and the steel erectors are right behind.
